BIO
Stephanie Evans was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is a Literacy Coach by day and an author by night.
She is the author of several children's books. Her goal is to ensure children can walk away from reading any of her books and feel a sense of pride, belonging, and inspiration.
Her most recent book, "Olivia and the Bonus Mom", is loosely based off of her relationship with her bonus daughter, Jaidah.
Her driving inspiration behind the Steven James series stems from her childhood memories with her older brother, Stephon, as well as her daily experiences with her students.
Inspired by her daughter, Joie, the book, "When Bow Looked in the Mirror," tells what happened when a beautiful baby spotted herself in the mirror for the first time.
She also enjoys helping other authors. Stephanie is the proud owner of Ballard Publishing Group.
